LEADER 2014-2020 Programme

delivering support to communities

LEADER is a bottom-up method of delivering support to communities for rural development. Grants are awarded by Local Action Groups to projects that support delivery of a Local Development Strategy. There are 21 LAGs across Scotland of which Cairngorms is one.

The Cairngorms LEADER 2014-2020 programme is now closed to new expressions of interest having committed all of the allocated project funding to a value of £2.241 million; with a total project value of £3.773 million investment into the communities of the Cairngorms National Park.
