Have you a community based, green thinking project that is ready to go and looking for funds? The Cairngorms Trust Green Change Fund opens for applications on the 27th September 2021.
The fund has £31,000 to support projects that contribute to the Cairngorms and in particular those that have their aims as:
- the conservation and enhancement of nature,
- tackling climate change and reducing emissions,
- enhancing the networks of relationships among people who live and work in the Cairngorms
- contributing to strengthening our communities and businesses through capital project delivery.
We are anticipating that the average grant will be around £5,000, although smaller and larger grants may also be available. The application window will close on the 31st October with decisions being made and announced by the end of November. Projects will need to be fully formed ideas that can easily be completed and fully claimed prior to the fund closing on 31st March 2022.
