World Human Foosball Championships 2023

The first World Human Foosball Championships will be held in the Cairngorms National Park to raise funds for the Cairngorms Trust to support projects across the area.

Get a team of friends, family and colleagues together for a day of fun, 5 a side foosball!  No previous experience is necessary just bring your enthusiasm.

Date: Saturday 20^th May 2023

Time: First match 9am, finals from 1pm

Entry is open to teams of 5 over 16 years old.

Early bird entry price is £50 per team to enter until the 28^th April.  Thereafter £100 team with last entries on the 12^th May so we can get the play lists ready.  With 1 free car parking space per team. 

This event is being held to raise funds to support projects that to support the landscapes, wildlife, local culture and economic health and encourage sustainable and community led local development within the Cairngorms National Park.

Spectators are welcome on the day with a suggested entry fee donation of £2 per person to the Cairngorms Trust.

There will be food stalls available on the day along with family friendly entertainment.

How much does it cost?

£50 per team of 5 if you enter before the 28^th April 2023

And the £100 per team of 5 with last entries on the 12^th May

This includes 1 car parking space per team with the option to buy additional spaces.

Team strips

We are asking that your team is all dressed in the same colour top/t-shirt so that it is easy for our spectators to cheer you all on.  Please let us know your team colour by the 12^th May.

How will the day run?

Registration from 8.30am

9am to 12 noon group stage, 3 games per team based on groups of 4 teams 

12 noon to 1pm LUNCH 

1pm first knockout 

2pm second knockout 

2.45pm quarter finals

3.15pm semi finals 

3.45pm final and prizes

What is included in the team entry fee?

• Digital team photo, high res for you to share
• Your Team and team member names published on the Cairngorms Trust website until 30^thJune 2023 as fund raisers for the Cairngorms Trust

What do the winners receive?

Free entry in 2024 and a winners shield and the kudos to be the first team to win the World Human Foosball Championships

Age restrictions

Entry is open to anyone aged 16 or over on 20^th May 2023

Is it free to come and spectate?  

We will ask for donations on the gate with a suggested entry fee of £2 per person
