Congratulations to Castle Roy Trust SCIO who have successfully completed their project Castle Roy’s Covid Crisis. Richard Eccles, Chairman of the Trust as part of his completion report made the following comment:
“Thanks to the swift intervention and funding of the Cairngorms Trust, the Castle Roy Trust was able to repair the infrastructure damage due to delays caused by the pandemic.
While many may think that it has been wet and chilly autumn, lime mortar work can continue if the temperature does not fall below freezing. The timely funding coincided with a long period of unseasonably warm weather allowing the masons to push on with the infrastructure consolidation repairs.”
