November 2018

5 Jun, 2019

In November 2018 the Cairngorms LAG approved funding under the LEADER 2014-20 programme for the following project:

North East Rural Food and Drink Tourism Programme: £3,320.02 to employ a project manager to work to grow the food and drink production sector across Aberdeenshire and the Cairngorms National Park. The project is a Co-operation Project with South Aberdeenshire, North Aberdeenshire and Cairngorms LAGs.

Inverallan 20/20 Development Phase: £35,548.24 to redevleop and repurpose the existing church to become an asset available for the community to use, focused on music and arts with a meeting space large enough to hold 350 people in a concert setting. Smaller rooms will be available to focus future service provision on isolated and hard-to-reach groups such as the elderly, disabled, and those living with dementia. As part of this project they will employ a part-time development consultant to coordinate and steer the project.
